Marble Cake

October is upon us, and I couldn't be more excited. This is by far my favorite month out of the year. The sweaters and scarves, the leaves changing colors, and the drop in temperature - I love it all.

At least I did when I lived back east. It's little different out here in Southern California. Basically, the leaves stay the same, and there are no sweaters and scarves because it is still 80 degrees outside.

But, I still get Halloween - the best holiday of the year. I will probably be celebrating all month long with dog costumes, spooky snacks, and adorable monster cakes. Get excited.

In the meantime, here is a Blue Marble Cake I made topped with a fresh rose. This marbling technique is one of my favorites when it comes to cake decorating. (See my Purple Marble Cake here). It is simple, stunning, and gives you something unique every single time. Basically, I am a fan. Happy Weekend everyone!
