diy sprinkle cone

If you guy's don't mind...I am going to continue with the ice cream theme we have going here. I think National Ice Cream Month deserves some respect..and I am more than willing to oblige.

Today is all about eating ice cream in style. I know most people eat ice cream out of a bowl (or straight out of the container like I do), but a cone is just more fun. And you know what is even better? A sprinkle cone.

I conducted a small survey and found that a sprinkle cone actually enhances a person's ice cream eating experience. Granted, this survey consisted of about 5 close family and friends - but I think it is a pretty good representation of the greater population. Sprinkles just make everything better.

And besides enhancing your overall ice cream experience, these sprinkle cones look adorable and take about 30 seconds to make! So...I don't really think there is any excuse not to make them asap.

DIY Sprinkle Cone

  • Sugar Cones
  • Sprinkles
  • Piping Gel
  • Paint Brush
  • Small Bowl

  1. Place a good amount of sprinkles into a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Coat the mouth and 1/4" down the side of the cone in piping gel.
  3. Dip the cone into the sprinkles.

AND THAT'S IT! YOU ARE DONE! How easy way that?

Lindsay Nathanson - Baker and Author

I might be the only person in the history of the world that has ever been grounded from baking. That's right. When I was a teen, it wasn't the computer, or the phone or the tv that got taken away. For me, it was the unsalted butter.
